After spending five weeks in hospital, Jan passed away on the 30th of April, 2020. Jan leaves behind her dear husband, David as well as her grandchildren and other close family. Due to the current circumstances, Jan's funeral will be a very small send off, with hopes that in a few months time Jan's family can get together to have a memorial. Jan and David sadly lost their youngest son Paul in 2017 and two years later lost their eldest son Simon to Motor Neurone Disease. For this reason, David has decided for any donations that people would like to make in memory of Jan, to be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Jan was never the same after losing her two boys, and there's comfort to be found in knowing that Jan is now back with her two boys.

Jan will be forever in all of our hearts, she was an incredible lady and shone a light that will never go out.
